Short-term and ongoing mission projects assist our own community and others in need. Recent projects include Blessings in a Backpack, Toys & Coats for Baptist Children's Home, Hope for Appalachia boxes, and West Chatham Food Pantry.
Open to children from preschool age through sixth grade. Choirs perform on special holidays and family occasions throughout the year; and the Mission Groups meet to learn about missions and conduct mission projects in the church and community from time to time.
Rocky River's Senior Adults enjoy monthly and holiday activities to foster fellowship, companionship and mutual support. Trips are offered throughout the year for senior adults, from daylong shopping adventures to overnight concert excursions and several-day beach retreats.
Classes for children and adults meet every Sunday morning at 10 a.m. to help participants apply their faith in a challenging world.
In addition to Youth Bible on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., Youth in Grades 6-12 enjoy an active calendar of social activities, fun road trips and service projects throughout the year.
An annual Halloween festival for neighborhood children of all ages features a hot dog supper, hayride, story time, activities and "Trunk or Treat."
One week of fun, evening activities, with dinner, is offered every June to help children and youth think thoughtfully about faith and lead more fulfilling lives.
